This get-together is also monumental as we must say “farewell” to one of our longtime hosts: Carrie of A Mother’s Shadow. Sniff! Carrie has been with us “almost forever” and, though we are excited about the new prospects on her horizon (she is in the process of writing her second book, among other things) we will miss her sweet presence at our party.
